Regatta Chairman – Ryan Gaskin
Please note:
- For All orders (meals, lunches, beverages, etc.) requiring an attendance count, a final count will be provided by August 31. If any vendor requires a preliminary count to initiate an order, Please contact the Regatta Chairman for an estimate.
- Keep receipts and turn them in to Tommy Weaver for reimbursement.
Race Committee – Bud Buckwell will be PRO. We need to assemble a great regatta team. Robert Kaiser will be Judge. Note: We will need a list of race team volunteers so that we can include them in the meal orders.
Sailing instructions - Ryan has developed the SI's, NOR, and online registration.
Trophies -Ryan: Trophies will be awarded for 4 places. Trophies have been purchased.
Club supplies – Tom and Nancy will inventory club supplies and purchase any needed to last the weekend. Items needed are generally: hand towels, soap, toilet paper, plates, forks/spoons/knives, beverage cups. Also, coffee/tea and filters.
Breakfast – Bill and Annette will provide breakfasts at 0800 on Saturday and Sunday morning. Purchase of bagels, rolls, bananas, etc. will be reimbursed from fleet funds. Keep receipts.
Friday/Saturday Lunch – Debbie Weaver will purchase and set up lunches for the Friday performance clinic and Saturday’s racing.
Friday Pizza – Kevin Lantz to purchase pizza for Friday’s after-clinic Patio Pizza Party.
Saturday Dinner –Farm Boys catered BBQ dinner for Saturday night. Allan Gowans will order for the event. We plan to order enough to provide lunch on Sunday. We will give Farm boys an updated final count after registration closes on Saturday.
Set up for Saturday BBQ - Need volunteers for dinner setup. Current volunteers: Karen Wilkinson
Sunday Lunch – Need volunteers to help set up lunch, heat leftover BBQ.
Cocktails/Ice –Tommy Weaver will provide ice. Oleg will arrange for beer, soda, chips ‘n dip, or other appropriate cocktail snacks for Friday and Saturday post event cocktail hour. We will need enough beer, soda, and ice for evening cocktails Friday and Saturday, Saturday dinner, and lunch beverages Sunday.
Water - We may have flats of water remaining from the TAF fishing derby. We need a volunteer to check local inventory and, if necessary, purchase three or so flats. Lauren will provide sparkling water that is very popular with many lady sailors.
Thursday Club Opening – Allan will check periodically for early arrivals attending the Friday morning clinic.
Friday Club Opening – Need a volunteer around noon to help organize parking for early regatta arrivals. Performance Clinic arrivals will already be on site.
Registration – Lauren will handle Friday registration 0800 to 0930 & Saturday registration 0900 to 1100.
Prep Crew - We need two or three volunteers to come to the club the week before the regatta and help with "appearance" cleanup on the grounds and around the patio for things like random tree debris, spider web removal, and debris blowing from the patio floor. Current volunteers: Karen Wilkinson
Clean Up Crew - Every fleet member is responsible for post event cleanup. All members should pitch in after the Sunday lunch and awards until the club house and patio are returned to their normal clean and orderly condition.
Photography - Need a volunteer for regatta photos and an operator for a dedicated photographer’s boat.
Videography – Need someone to take video on Greg’s coaching boat for Friday’s Performance clinic and an operator for the coaching boat.
