1984 Impulse 26 sailboat for sale. Hull number 27. Very fast in light air and handles like a dream.

Rigged and ready to race with a recently replaced rolling furling genoa that has been sailed less than a dozen times, mainsail and spinnaker with pole. These boats were originally built with an inboard engine but it was removed by a previous owner. An outboard engine mount has been built into the swept stern but I am keeping the motor for my newer sailboat. I recently replaced the bilge with an automatic bilge pump for worry free pumping if away for extended time.

This boat is 40 years old but structurally intact and ready to race. Some cosmetic wear and tear. Navigation lights work but mast light needs to be replaced. The masthead wind vane was blown horizontal and needs to be reset. I do not have a bosun’s chair to fix these.

Interior sleeps four but these were designed with no head and no running water. Here is a link to a website that gives the specs in detail. Paid $6000.00 in 2010. Asking $3000 OBO.

I have loved this boat but am selling because I was given another boat that fits my needs better with a retractable keel, trailer and can single hand sail.
